SIMPLE 3 STEP APPLICATION
CLEAN
PRESATURATED WIPES
Use RitterSystems™ Presaturated Wipes to thoroughly clean all grease and grime from PVC surfaces.
PRIME
PRIMER
Spray RitterSystems™ Primer onto all PVC Formwork surfaces requiring sealing or bonding.
BOND
POLYMER
Apply the RitterSystems™ Hydrophobic Polymer to all prepared surfaces. Cure time: 2.5mm/24 hrs.
COMPLETE WALL CONTAINMENT
RitterSystems™ Hydrophobic Waterstop offers the ability to create Primary and Secondary containment seals on the outer edge of the PVC wall structure creating a complete seal at the floor/wall joint. This provides significant improvements over conventional Waterstop Systems when applied to PVC Permanent Formwork Products.
CONVENTIONAL WATERSTOPS
Water can bypass conventional hydrophilic Waterstops as a result of hydrostatic pressure pushing water through cracks in the concrete wall caused by shrinkage and movement .

RitterSystems™ Waterstop offers primary and
secondary containment points located at the perimeter of the wall eliminating the impact of hydrostatic pressure and floor/wall joint seepage.

TECHNOLOGY
The RitterSystems™ Hydrophobic Waterstop incorporates UV Tracing Technology to ensure adequate coverage of the Primer is achieved during installation. It can also be used as a tool to validate application compliance to avoid inferior product substitution.
AN EFFECTIVE
REMEDIATION SOLUTION
Typical cold joint seepage can be repaired using a PVC angle and the Hydrophobic Waterstop System.
Clean, prime and prime all relevant PVC surfaces. Apply the Hydrophobic Polymer to the PVC angle.
Position the PVC angle into the corner where the floor meets the wall. Allow 24 hours to dry.
